Vivian Santos is a Fadista based out of Hanford, CA. She was born and raised in the Bay Area. Her parents are both immigrants from the island of Terceira, Azores, Portugal. A Portuguese-descendent, Tania first found Fado as a child when hearing her godmother sing in the celebrations that were typical of her family. Her interest in Portuguese culture continued along the years while she was a student in Portuguese school and dancer in the Folkloric Group Ramos de Oliveira in Pawtucket, RI. Fadista Sandra Pinheiro Pacheco, Fadista Sandra Pinheiro Pacheco was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Portuguese immigrants of the Azorean island, Faial.  She loved singing as a child and claims to have inherited her father’s genes. He was a well-known singer in Faial for the “bailes.” She started singing on stage when she was a sophomore at San Jose High School.
