Vivian Santos is a Fadista based out of Hanford, CA. She was born and raised in the Bay Area.
Her parents are both immigrants from the island of Terceira, Azores, Portugal.
Vivian began singing Fados when she was a teenager with her first live performance at the age of 16 at her father’s cafe.
The two musicians that played for her then are still her most collaborated with musicians today; her husband David Santos who plays Guitarra, and her good friend Emanuel Avila who plays viola and viola Baixo.
Vivian holds a degree in music education with an emphasis in voice/choir from Fresno State University and is currently a high school choir and musical theatre teacher.
